Yes. All products can be combined with any food. However, we recommend separating the intake of coffee and spirulina, especially if you are using our product for anemia or iron deficiency, as it may hinder proper absorption.
To start, we recommend a dose of 1.5 grams (approximately one teaspoon). If you have any pre-existing conditions or your body is loaded with toxins, it’s better to begin with a lower dose. After 1 or 2 weeks, you can increase the dose to 3 grams (one dessert spoon) to experience more benefits, such as improved immunity and the start of a detox process. If you feel comfortable with spirulina or are looking for more intense benefits, the dose is 6 grams (one tablespoon). This dose may cause mild side effects like diarrhea if you're not used to it, but it’s ideal if you are following a specific treatment, such as weight management. In this case, it's recommended to divide the dose: 3-4 grams before lunch and 3-4 grams before dinner.
For children aged 4 to 5 years, the maximum recommended daily dosage is 3 grams (one dessert spoon).
Yes! Spirulina is one of the few foods that contains all the essential nutrients your body needs. It is a great substitute for many sources of protein, vitamins, and minerals!
Orders for dehydrated spirulina (bombs, crunchy, tablets, and salt), if placed before 11 AM, will arrive the next day. If you order fresh spirulina, it will be shipped with our next harvest, which takes place once or twice a week.
If it's fresh spirulina, it's best to store it in the fridge or freezer immediately. If it doesn't contain fresh spirulina, you can store it in a pantry or in a cool, dry place.
