Instructions

Prepare the bread:

Toast the slices of whole wheat bread until golden brown and crispy. You can do it in a toaster or in a frying pan over medium heat.

Prepare the cream cheese with spirulina:

Add the fresh spirulina to the cream cheese with the thermomix until well incorporated or you can also do it manually by mixing the two ingredients with a spoon. You will see how the spirulina will give a vibrant blue-green color to the cream cheese.

Prepare the avocado:

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and start cutting it into thin slices. Then, with a soup spoon, remove the slices you have cut.

Assemble the toast:

  • Spread the cheese and spirulina mixture over the toast.
  • Add the avocado slices on top of the cream cheese.
  • Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them on top of the avocado.
  • Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish and serve:

If desired, sprinkle some chia or sesame seeds on top to add a crunchy touch and even more nutrients.
