I dream of a blue-green revolution that reaches every home, every kitchen and every store. I want fresh spirulina to stop being an unknown and become an everyday food. Because it is much more than a superfood: it is an ally against malnutrition, climate change and overmedication. It is a way to recover health, reconnect with life and take care of the planet from the plate.

Blauver was born from a journey, a dream and a discovery that changed everything.
In 2009, Joan Solé, a young activist who defended food sovereignty and a more humane and sustainable way of living, traveled through Europe with his backpack on his back.
There he met spirulina: an ancient living being, present on Earth for 3.5 billion years, capable of giving us oxygen, life and extraordinary nutrition.
It was love at first sight. Joan began to teach her self-cultivation in communities, social and humanitarian projects, demonstrating that this superfood could nourish people and regenerate the planet at the same time. But she encountered a problem: in the market, spirulina was industrial, cheap powder dehydrated at high temperatures, far from its true natural potency.
With the aim of offering “good spirulina: fresh, alive and handmade”, it built the first micro-farm in Lleida, cultivating with pure water from the Pyrenees and its own methods that respect the rhythms of nature. Thus Blauver was born, a pioneer in Spain in bringing quality fresh spirulina to homes.
Today, each Blauver dose carries within it the same essence that captivated its founder: a living, sustainable and powerful food, cultivated with rigor and care, that wants to reconnect us with life and help us “recover our health through food”.
Today, this story continues thanks to people like you, who shape the Verdiazul revolution, the Blauver revolution.
